About Cashma and Reggae Tuh Reggae
At Reggae Tuh Reggae we are a family. Put together by our producer Cashma Bryan, we aspire to bring a fun and entertaining family experience from the tropical country of Jamaica right to your living room. Our host makes sure to engage our audience with fun commentary. Our Judges give our contestants constructive criticism, which helps them to improve their craft.
Cashma Bryan was born in a little city called Hopewell, in the parish of Hanover, Jamaica. When growing up he had a passion for music and started his own band singing at the age of 18. The name of his group was called, “Christ-like gospel singer”. He toured the island of Jamaica with his band, ministering across the island. After which, he moved to the United States of America, working for a cruise ship called, “Royal Caribbean Cruise line”, as a Pastry Chef.
He then moved on to ministries where he served as Deacon, Elder, Pastor, and Bishop. Cashma has traveled around the world. He has been a live radio talk show host and is an award winner for source music.
Cashma also managed a restaurant called, “Jamaica Jamaica.” He went on to produce his own TV show, “ So you think you can preach.” A few years later, to this day with his creativity, while working at the Westin Hotel as a Chef he produced the new TV show, “Reggae Tuh Reggae.”
